Five months had passed since the leaving of his home, taking on the job of being a bounty hunter. He passed on his views beating a minimum of ten incredibly weak pirate crews in his wake. Not bad, they were just beginning however, and not large obstacles. His fists were easily able to subdue such weaklings, and thus he showed it with his ferocity as well. What a strong spirited male, what intensity did he truly have, he pushed forward to become something stronger and that was his idea of power. To gain with your own two hands, no hand-outs.
"Well, well if it isn't the little 'shit-head' who has been making a ruckus in my crews ranks, you really think you're hot shit." He had no fear within his eyes, making no sudden movements as the crowd had began to form around him. His eyes looked towards the ground only, gaining leverage for his head as they began to unsheathe their weaponry. The seeming "captain" of the crew made his way towards him, looking to attack him with what would seem a sword of his own probably a cleaver blade by the seams.
"Let me teach you something, pirates and bounty-hunters are no places for little kids, oh, the afraid look you have right now shows you're nothing but a fucking mouse in a word of cats..." Crowding members of the captains crew began to laugh loudly, making their way forward, taking their own accord of strength in numbers and trying to make themselves seem more intimidating. "Well, how about it little cat, come quietly and we will only make you scream... but fight back and we shall be the mouse traps." The crowds started to become more blood-thirsty, or as bloodthirsty as they could actually get.
"W-" The steely defense of the individual had caught a sense of "heat", his fist pierced the sky as he released a thunderous uppercut towards the captains chin. The result was explosive, the power packed within his fist, would send him into a sprawling spin. Crashing into the ground with a loud 'thud', Kinniku held his position with his fists clinched, his expression didn't change for a while. His arms would become more relaxed, and with this he would watch the captain laying on the ground. "You know, talking is bullshit, real men fight."
The crew remained motionless, mouths gaping open with the sense of this. One punch had sent the male into a destructive coma, his fist made the epitome of insanity possible in the crews eyes. "See, in my opinion of a game of cat and mouse, I'm a Dragon..." His fist would turn, grasping tightly holding the position was the crew members backed away from him, screeching in terror. "I suggest you take this pathetic loser away... lest I take him to collect the bounty." He was tired of all these weak and pathetic pirates, people who were absolutely nothing but talk instead of skill, even outnumbered he proved too much for them.
The journey from one place to another came from him being shipwrecked and cast away, he had shrugged off such pain while living within a family for a few weeks to regain his strength. He thanked the family, by working for them, utilizing his incredible strength in order to plow fields and cut trees, gaining them much greater revenue possible and saying his goodbyes. They even bought him a ship, of which he used to travel. Thus, he moved onward and started to hunt once more.
Walking through the streets, he felt unfulfilled and with much regret. Would his journey never become more meaningful, would he ever find himself an opponent worthy of being beaten or captured with his fist. Only time would tell, but all things right now seemed grim to the touch. A sigh escaped his lips, and he kept walking forward with his fists clenched.

Roshaun "Eastern Tempest" Halifax xxxxxIt had been quick as he'd promised. Going from one island to another in the metal vessel was easy and he hadn't had any problems before. Before, he hadn't been pulling a second boat. The trip was a test in stamina and Roshaun wasn't too sure he'd passed. Sure they'd made it in record time but he'd had a number of lulls in the wind speed. He was currently sweating from working under the sun. About half way through their jouney he had the great idea that the other boat could move under its own power with a little persuasion and had shoved a good strong gust into its sails. That had helped but then the task was keeping the two currents running at about the same speed. The two boats kept switching the lead. But now with an island a few hundred yards off he let himself slack off. xxxxxIn his language that meant popping open the catch to his supplies and rummaging for a moment. He found the water and helped himself to a drink in the middle of his search. This was why he had been thinking about some sort of organizing system. Finally he emerged triumphant. It was short lived. The pack he held in his hand was crumpled partially from the storage and partially from his own grip. That wasn't the issue, it was the fact that there was only one peppermint stick hidden inside. Obviously he'd have to buy more. If they had them and if he could manage it before his new companion poisoned them. xxxxxHe held off on consuming the stick for the moment. "Looks populated." He wouldn't have said the same about the last island. Sure there were people but not nearly enough to warrant the word. "Know what it's called?" He was landing here whether she wanted to or not and he wasn't leaving until he'd either found a new box or had scoured the market and came up empty. As such he didn't ask or otherwise comment before forcing another couple currents to their respective boats. He'd gotten better at keep the currents similar, though it still needed a lot of work before he would say it was decent. Once they got closer, he let up on the one he had been using on her sail. He kept his propeller spinning hard, using the force of it to prop him up and onto the land near the dock. Let her dock her ship as she liked. Roshuan doubted she would be happy if he pushed her boat out of the water. xxxxxThis landing of his would have been fine except that the dock was not in the middle of nowhere. He stepped out onto the stone paved walkway his boat was currently parked on curiously looking down the streets as though he might be able to see what he was after from here. "You can't leave that there!" A man yelled at him when he started walking away. Roshaun looked between the man, the city and his boat as though they were foreign objects. Why the hell not? Who was going to move it? Palm held out he shoved the man in the chest. More like a pat really but seeing as he added a wind blast to the action it sent the man tumbling head over heels. xxxxx"Honestly, some people." Roshaun scuffed, slipping the last peppermint stick between his lips like a cigarette. "Now, le'see." He muttered around the stick as he continued on his quest for more of the sugary candies forgetting about his companion or rather assuming she'd be fine on her own.

•°o.O Victoria E. Castelle O.o°• xxxAva, during the trip, didn't pay Roshaun too much attention. He was working his ass off to keep her boat going, sure, but that was his problem. If he didn't want to let nature take it's course and allow them to get to the next island on it's terms, well... he deserved the sweaty stench of male pigheadedness. Ava, on the other hand, was content to sit on the side of her boat, catching a small breeze from Mother Nature herself, rather than her sweaty companion. Sweat; another thing she didn't like. But then, a shorter list would be of what she did like. When Roshaun ran his boat right into the ground, Ava simply slipped over the side and gave hers a little kick. It was still tethered to Roshaun's, so it wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. Wading through the shallow waters, Ava followed Roshaun out of boredom more than anything. She could've found something else to do, say... find a bar and slip the poison she lovingly nicknamed 'Blaze' into someone's drink. That was always amusing. However, following her newest acquaintence might prove a little more... fruitful. Or not. Who knows? xxxAva paid little mind as Roshaun so cruelly knocked a man aside. Well, she called it cruel, but then stepped on his hand, eliciting a nasty (or as Ava preferred, "satisfying") crunch as the bones snapped beneath her heel. The man cried out, but Ava didn't so much as look back. "Anything specific you're looking for?" Ava asked, casting her own flat gaze around the area. Taking a moment to think over her own supplies, she remembered she was running low on some key ingredients for her poisons- and some herbs for cooking as well. Though it might prove more productive to shop for those seperately; there would be no need in poisoning herself by accident. Or Roshaun for that matter; she was a cook, after all, and if they'd be travelling together, perhaps he'd warm up to eating what she cooked. Maybe if she left her belt in the cabins while handling food, it would help.

Taking his time, the flowing steady voices of the masses influenced the large pub, a familiar face (the girl from the second episode of one piece, Rika. She had been serving him drinks for the time being, of course water, peering off to the fact that she was within her thirties, and thus acted sort of like a voice of reason while he was on the island. Another drink was served on the double, he flicked a coin towards her. "Thanks."
"No problem, Kin-san." She would say in a happy sort of joyous voice, business was booming and the place was as lively as ever with both Marines and Civilians alike. Most of the pirates steered away from the potential trouble, lest their be a ruckus they wanted to make. His fist would bunch once again, turning and twisting within. He was still disappointed in the situation, no-good pirate idiots, that couldn't fight anyway necessary.
It had been a few weeks since he appeared at this place, he heard from a source that pirates were gathering into Shells Town for one reason or another. But, he couldn't figure why with the entire necessity of Marine's, though it obviously wasn't the best place. Taking his head to the wooden counter top, he heard the screams of the masses once more with incredible laughter. Concentrating, he would grunt, a sliding noise would be heard from a glass nearby. "Fresh fruit juice, on the house, Kin-san." Looking towards her, his face was within the permanent scowl it always was.
"N-no, Rika-san, I-" Wavering her head, pushing her hand on the glass and sliding it towards him, she laughed. "It's fine, you've been a good customer and I'm making a lot today, so just think of it as a thank you for the service." His eyes motioned to the glass, he didn't say much of anything and only gestured with a nod. His fingers went against the handle, he made a small grip, pulling the glass to his lips beginning to drink the juice.
'I gotta figure out what I'm gonna do next, these puny bounties and weak foolish pirates don't know a damn thing about strength.' He played with several thoughts in his heads, drinking a sip of juice each time, as he closed his eyes for but a moment. "Gotta figure it out..." Telling himself with a minimum sigh, he placed one last tip against the counter. Getting up, he began to move towards the door, passing by the individuals close by.
"I don't think I should stay here, today should be my last..." He needed to move on, and careful planning would be needed for such a thing.

Roshaun "Eastern Tempest" Halifax xxxxxRoshaun would have to agree with her, at least on one point. He didn't like feeling unclean. There was likely a cool bath in the near future but it was put off in favor of shopping. That said, he sucked at the end of the stick before sliding it from his mouth. He held up the little red and white, mostly white now, stick. It was still wet from his mouth but he'd made sure to suck off his own spit so that it didn't look disgusting when he showed her. "Peppermint." It went back to his mouth, tongue keeping it off to the side as he spoke. "And food I guess."xxxxxThe crowded town was irritating, at best. He was used to such things but that didn't mean he had to like it. People were far too packed together for his liking. Granted no one had touched him or even intruded into the socially accepted sphere of his personal space. He was the wind. Even if he couldn't yet control it particularly well. Air was freedom if nothing else and this was a bit too enclosed for his liking. Roshaun snorted. He was starting to sound like a whinny old lady. This was too crowded, the last was too quiet. xxxxxHe forced his way through the people, making them move because he refused to go out of his way even a step. Maybe he would have been a little more accommodating if he wasn't focused on his goal, probably not. It was a stall outside of proper buildings that he was aimed for. Better that then the wooden boxes they lived in. Except there was already someone standing at the stall looking over the goods and chatting pleasantly with the seller. "Move." He was less then patient. It was mostly his fault but that was neither here nor there. When the body didn't move nearly fast enough he blasted the woman through a window of what looked like a bar or other such place for drinking. xxxxxRoshaun was already feeling sorry that he'd done it. Rubbing his shoulder with the other hand he wasn't sure which action he was more sorry for; having used his power on her just now or having ran it ragged getting them here. Too late now. A hot bath would fix him up and what it couldn't solve, sleep would. "I'll need Peppermint and supplies for a voyage." He pointedly looked at the seller. Whether the stall had what he needed or not he was holding the man behind it responsible for obtaining what he wanted. "Oh. Did you need anything?" He asked of Victoria, only now remembering her. Roshaun looked around to find her not at all certain if she'd followed him this far or not. He might not trust her but then he didn't trust anyone. That said, he also excepted his fate. He'd probably eat her cooking no matter what she did, though he'd likely be ready to take her out with him. Still the fact that she was a cook would be a welcome one, seeing as he wasn't a chief by any means. He could make things that were edible and not entirely horrendous but it wasn't something to be proud of.

•°o.O Victoria E. Castelle O.o°• xxxAva had fallen behind Roshaun a bit. Someone in the crowd had "copped a feel" and the moment Ava found who it was, they were greeted with a kick to the face which immediately had him on the ground. A reasonable woman would stop there, say something cruel and walk away. Ava wasn't a reasonable woman, however, and continued to stomp at his face, only stopping when the cartlidge in his nose stopped crunching. When she pulled her foot away one last time, the boy's face was bloody, his nose hardly retaining any shape at all. Ava spit in his face, turned, and walked away without a word. Why tell the little pervert what he'd done? He knew. Well, unless it was an accident, in which case he should've been careful. xxxCatching up to Roshaun wasn't a difficult task, either. She simply noticed a woman being thrown through the air like a rag doll and assumed it was Roshaun taking advantage of his devil fruit. She caught up just in time to be where she would be had she followed him simply, and when asked if she needed anything, she stepped up to his side and looked at the merchant flatly. "What kind of herbs do you have? I need wolfbane, cassava, nutmeg, kudu and deadly nightshade." While she also needed some cooking materials, her poisons were always first on her list. Besides, she would probably need to stock up on supplies here anyway; sure, she had enough for a week's travel, but that was only when she was alone. And she knew nothing of Roshaun's appetite. Needless to say, if he was the type to eat a whole week's worth of food in a single sitting, they would have problems. Problems in the form of poisoned stew. So, basically, he'd have problems.

His eyes shifted, as he watched about five people, who he saw come from before. They were trying to cover over him. Standing tall, his fist would fall by the wayside. "That's him captain, that's the kid, Julian-sama pronounced!" One of the subordinates would scream, as a rather large man with an incredibly big sword had moved forward. "Hehe, well well, him?"
He was menacing in the sense of his status, something that made Kinniku a bit on edge. Was this the man he was looking for, the challenge that would allow for him to bypass the limitations of the people he had fought before. He would only wait, glaring at the man. His lips would grimace, turning slightly towards the side.
"Yes, I see it, why my second was defeated..." The sword fell to the side, slamming into the ground with the blades edge digging into the earth cutting it. The force of the blade made Kinniku have a bit of a sweat, if he was hit by something like that, he would probably get destroyed. The large figure had only laughed at the thought of his subordinate being defeated, however hadn't said a word for now.
'This man, his strength seems to be the intimidation factor, not only that he has an incredible amount of physical strength...' Taking all the information his brain received into account, he knew what must happen next, he needs to think up a strategy. He had actually faced large weapons such as this man's before, but they were blunt and made of stone, back on the island. The man would suddenly talk, taking an apple into his mouth as he bit, his lips munching against it.
"Tell you what kid, how about you join me and become my second mate." A look of surprise had came on the face of the subordinates, as they gasped. "Sir, you can't be serious, h-" He kicked the subordinates face, sending him flying into a building, making people scream from the echoes of the assault. "Dare question me again, and next time it'll be more than your body in pain, jackass." He picked up his sword, one-grip and pointed it towards Kinniku.
The young boxer had however, never thought second about his position as a bounty-hunter, nor was he going to, a man that couldn't keep his own promises wasn't a man. "Sorry, not interested." A calm look stayed on the man's face, the grips of his fists stayed within a clinched position. Making his body sway back and forth as he held his fist close to his head. He watched for the time being, the male beginning to laugh once more.
"Your loss... Welcome to Hell." Raising the sword into the sky, the eyes of the challenging for would raise as the large weapon came towards him slashing through the ground. He would however dodge with impressive speed, he stopped, however that would not stop his opposing force. He lifted the sword, and dashed with great acceleration from such a position, Kinniku's eyes would raise. The moment he did, he slashed forward at high speed, holding the sword with two-hands. Another impressive dodge would come, as Kinniku's body was now airborne, taking his fist into a circular rotation, he would attack with a ferocious punch, that would be blocked by the swords tough defenses. 'What speed, and with such a large weapon!'
The two would slide, as the attacks impacted, and with a final clutch they would both smirk. 'Hm, the brats not half bad, I definitely think he would be better than my son.' The male would take the sword onto his back, placing it on his shoulders. "C-Captain was evenly matched, Captain Nagano was matched with this brat?!" One of the subordinates said angrily, worried for the battle.
"Relax, jackasses, I haven't even gotten serious and you know that already!" He would chuckle, before removing his coat as it dropped to the ground, his incredibly muscular frame would show, wearing a t-less cotton shirt. He held the sword behind himself, and laughed a bit. "Come on, little robin, the snake wants a meal..." However, he would not follow this, the situation where he could actually follow something with such a blind eye was idiotic. He needed to keep calm, and away. "The captains never been defeated, he hasn't even taken a blow before, he's invincible, you're only gonna get yourself killed kid."
'These bastards are so full of themselves... I will admit he's fast b-' An overhead strike would arise, with the blade coming forward, and cleaving downward with extreme force, the young man's body rolled to the side as he did a backflip, the sword cleaving towards the right as he leaped backwards from the back positioning. He motioned his fists forward, ready for the next attack as gripped the sword in a way that it was horizontal. It pierced forward as Kinniku's eyes went wide from the sudden acceleration the attack had, going straight towards him, Kinniku did a full back step, almost taking a direct cleave into his stomach.
A small trickle of blood feel from the middle of his stomach, Kinniku however got back into position. 'This kids much faster than I thought, his overall agility is enough to dodge a thrust from his sword with the length it can go, his perception should be off, but he was enough on reflexes to control it... that tears it..' The captains eyes had closed as he held the sword with one hand once again, waving it around as if it was a toy. "Come on kid, join me, I can train you to become so much stronger than you are now, your potential makes me a bit uneasy." Standing, the boy watched with a calm face, his face went into a large frown.
"I stand with my decision, when I make my decision, I stay by it..." He looked him straight into the eye, as people from around the area watched, listening. "I am a bounty-hunter, I will take your body and sell it to the marines, that is enough of a gift." He joked around a bit, as Nagano's head fell his hand clenching deeper onto the swords handle.
"What a nuisance, the stubborn nature you have makes me want to kill you right where you stand." As he had spoken, the person who had been defeated by Kinniku's Uppercut had finally shown his face, as he ran, gripping part of the building as he watched, gasping for air. "Fat- I mean... Captain Nagano, why are you facing him?!" He screamed, however, Nagano would glare at him. "He's possibly your replacement, you're nothing but a pathetic weakling after all... and you have been a pain in my ass since I enlisted you into my crew, son." He rotated his head in disappointment, Julian held his mouth open in disbelief.
Kinniku, however, didn't take to kindly to not being eyed, looking down upon him equaled an ass kicking. His body would move forward at incredible speeds, and with his fist clenched tight, he would press forward with a straight towards his face. The punch cut clean as it went across his face, the strength of the punch, was a straight, one of the most powerful basic punches he had. Feeling the blow with the incredible power it had, he was sent flying for his great strength. 'Direct hit...' A large crash could be heard as he went through a wall.
"F-father!" Screamed Julian, Kinniku's head facing forward as the blade was outside of the wall, watching with his stance still ready for battle. "C-captain, was actually hit by the attack, this is crazy, that was a low-blow!" Screamed one of the subordinates.
"This is fighting, their is no such thing as low blows, especially when you turn your attention from the battle... it's your fault." He tapped his foot against the ground, as the man would arise through the hole in the wall, screaming could be heard from the home. His foot hit against the cobble stones of the outside, as he grinned.
"He's right... exceptional instincts my boy..." He would chuckle, grasping his sword. "Let's keep going, I love this fight, I want more!" He exclaimed laughing with a rugged laugh.

Roshaun "Eastern Tempest" Halifax xxxxxRoshaun wasn't concerned with that these people wanted to do. If they wanted to kill each other, fine. No big loss. It was a damned ruckus but that wasn't particularly horrible in his mind either. The merchant was a little distracted by it but he kept the man's attention. Forcefully sure, but it was kept nonetheless. One of his thin blades was used to pry into the wood that made up the stall while Roshaun watched the man squirm. "Please do try to keep up." xxxxxA few nods and the man was hastily apologizing. "You see, I don't actually... sell... what you're..." He trailed off, not sure if his answer had just lost him his life. "Well then, don't you think you should find some?" Roshaun pressed, not about to go searching through every wood building in town. The outside stall had been a blessing he was not about to let go of. The man that ran the stall hesitated but nodded once again and scurried off to go get the list of items he'd been asked for. Where he was going to get them from was hardly any concern to Roshaun but he did watch the man as he ran off to do so. That is until said man was rudely interrupted by the flying body of another, one that flung the both of them into another building. xxxxxRoshaun blinked a few times as his mind caught up to the consequences of that particularly bad timed attack. The larger of the two victims came back out of the house. The smaller, and far more important in Roshaun's mind, did not. His eyes narrowed at the man who had been the cause. Not the man who had hit this large monstrosity who called himself a man, but the body that had flung his little messenger out of commission. Both of them seemed particularly interested in the fight however and that was all the invitation Roshaun needed. Quick feet took him between bodies of those watching. He was much better at this then his power anyway. xxxxxA jump took him to the wall of the now rather broken house. He could feel the wood already making his stomach turn but that was not going to be a problem. With the house as a launching point he landed on the larger man's back. Not enough force to knock this Captain Nagano over, but a step up so that the smaller Roshaun could reach his target. Feet against the man's back and one arm around his neck, Roshaun other hand stuck a small thin blade into the juncture of neck and shoulder. The coughing had blood. Not a lot but enough to be noticeable. Large hands reached rather dumbly to the sudden pain. "Yeah. That's not quite your wind pipe. Close. I might have nicked it." Roshaun taunted the man whoes blood was starting to coat his hand still holding the small blade into flesh. "Do you want to die?" The question came straight forward. No taunting. He was honestly putting the decision into the hands of the man whose back he was perched on. (I'm not actually sure what Kinniku's doing over there but if this doesn't get his attention I'm not really sure why we're here. I was pretty sure he was in the pub, but now he's fighting some random NPC. I was under the impression that was why we were here.)

•°o.O Victoria E. Castelle O.o°• xxx"...What a pain..." Ava mumbled, watching Roshaun. Pushing her way through the crowd, she made it to the front so she had a clear view. Roshaun was, as usual, being violent. Not too surprising considering their actions so far. Glancing around, she noticed most of the town was transfixed upon the fight before them. She heard suspicious whispers about the young man, a self-proclaimed bounty hunter. Ava looked about the participants, one of which seemed to be the one Roshaun had, undoubtedly, just killed. Perhaps he wasn't dead yet, but Ava doubted he'd survive. Then, it didn't really matter to her. What did matter to her was the fact she was running out of the aforementioned herbs. And that was ticking her off. "Ne, Roshaun, hurry up would you? Why are we even interfereing in this stupid mess." While no one had asked her to stay, nor had she participated in the mess, she still felt the need to speak her aggravations and, considering they were travelling together, Roshaun seemed to be the most likely to listen.
((down, pyro, down. Kinniku had posted that he left the bar and he'd already walked past us. I do so believe this was his way of getting our attention. Btw; sorry it took me so long to post, ADD, slow connection, overall writer's block; bleh.))

"I want m-" A cold sweat was felt by the males forehead, as he lifted his neck, feeling the bleeding, it began to pour from his neck slowly. Kinniku's stance was with his fists once more, taking up the time that would be his own circumstances. This man seemed much more menacing, this speed, and his ability to move at such an acceleration that not even Kinniku saw such a thing happen. It could of been because he was keeping his eyes on the Captain, but low and behold this gave him a bit of a problem.
"Wha-" It took him a while, before he could seemingly say something, the large males sword came into an arc going forward with incredible torque as he swung it, laughing.
"Kill me, fuck no, I wouldn't even allow that to happen, you don't know who the hell you're talking to!" Holding the sword with two hands, before he knew it, Kinniku had grasped his head and then began to lift him up with one hand, before throwing him to his crew. He may have been a Bounty Hunter, but this one seemed like weaker prey, plus, Kinniku had compassion.
"Hey wait, I was gonna kick h-" Kinniku's fist came into his stomach, with a powerful blow, as he watched his eyes. "Even a large man, can't take a full force punch to the stomach..." He pushed him forward finally falling to unconsciousness, and looked to Julian, with a scowl. "Oi, weakling, get him to the ship with you..." Julian watched Kinniku with a humiliated scowl, before grabbing him and beginning to drag him away. "This won't be the last of us, you guys grab his sword!" They subordinates hurried along, running to the sword as four people lifted it, and started to run away at great speed. Kinniku turned quickly, knowing the rules of battle.
"Get out of here, if I see you again, we will fight once more, Captain Nagano..." What was this urge the male had, the seemingly rite to want to kick someones ass or even fight with such power. This guy, whose speed was so much that he moved faster than Kinniku's eyes (that IS fast). He wanted to test him, and thus, he lost interest in that man and wanted to go for this one. The subordinate, or colleague it seemed, came to the battle as well. 'These two people, something tells me they are much stronger than he was...'
His stance came back, as his eyes went forward towards the seemingly stronger individual. "Your bloodlust, seems to be rising, I have never seen such killing intent if not from my own parents..." He walked towards the side, his arms and fists were at his ribs, as he didn't turn, he kept focus on both of them. Wanting to keep his eyes focused and ready for anything, he pressed onward. "From that exchange, it seems you guys would be considered pirates?" Stopping his strut, he made his stance once more, placing his fists in the air now.

Roshaun "Eastern Tempest" Halifax xxxxxSuch bravado from a broken man. Not yet down but broken nonetheless. After all, a mere flick and he would server that stupid fat head from its big fat body. His attention was drawn from the man who was under his blade to Victoria. "Ah. Very well." some things had to come first he supposed. Killing an irritant was not particularly high up on the list. xxxxxLooking down at the neck he was stabbing into, Roshaun sighed. "Looks like she made that decision for you." He fully intended to rip the blade out and not in the nicest way. That was, until his ride was being attacked from the front. The man was lifted and Roshaun was impressed. The man was rather large and had Roshaun's weight on his back besides. Jumping off, he landed in a crouch closer to where Victoria was waiting. Good thing too, he decided, as the man was tossed around like a rag doll. xxxxx Raising to his feet in a fluid movement he looked at his companion. "My apologies." Maybe he wanted the large man dead but that option passed and with it Roshaun's interest in the whole affair. "You wanted herbs did you not?" She had been decent company so far and hadn't yet actively tried to poison him. He still didn't trust her but that did not mean he had to be rude. What kind of herbs she had asked for he wouldn't be able to repeat. It would seem he'd have to go into a building yet. Shame that. He was going to feel sick for the rest of the day now, he knew it. xxxxxRoshaun barely notice the challenging man who seemed to live for nothing but the next fight. "Hum?" He looked over at the man preparing for a fight Roshaun was unaware he'd walked into. "You're parents must have been quite repulsive." Was the only response he deemed necessary for the unknown man. "Are you ready to go?" He directed at Victoria but his eyes stayed fixed on Kinniku. He didn't trust anyone much less a man who was actually threatening him. (Ok ok, I sorry. *goes to curl up before she gets swatted in the nose*)

•°o.O Victoria E. Castelle O.o°• xxx"Herbs and cooking supplies," Ava replied simply, ignoring Kinniku for the time being. She honestly didn't care until he did something that annoyed him- but wait. Thinking it over, Ava found something that annoyed her; call it a glitch in his system. "Did you just release a pirate with a high bounty for two no-names like us? Is that really how a bounty hunter would operate?" She ignored Roshaun as he asked if she was ready; she wanted to ask Kinniku that at the very least. "How much money could you have gotten from that man; that whole crew? And you just let them go? Have you no pride in your own abilities?" Ava's eyes narrowed, "Or is it that you sense he was too strong for you, and since we have no bounties, you've decided to take the easy way out?"

'These two seem to think something more of a bad couple than an actual pair of pirates.' His legs began to move on their own, his fists to his sides as his eyes watched them both. He stared directly to the male, and not at the female who had nothing but crap to say. Seemed to come with the territory these days, he then stopped and went back into his stance.
"I don't really care about money, though I will turn in the pirates and try to keep them alive for the marines, I fight pirates because maybe, just maybe I can get a foe with enough strength to take me on..." A small grin would appear on his face, his body hunched forward. "I want to prove who the most powerful is, that no pirate, no admirable is stronger than I am... and to do that I need strong opposition." A click would release from his teeth, as he clenched them together, taking forward his body.
"Well, come on then, lets see your power..." He stepped forward and stopped in order to punch the male, his fist a rapid-fire volley of jabs across the body from his left hand, going in an extremely quick exchange. He utilized a leg rotation at the end of the attack, switching his body in order to attack with a turning straight punch straight towards the face, though much slower than the jabs, it packed what was called a "Bazooka" load of strength.

Roshaun "Eastern Tempest" Halifax xxxxxRoshaun would have to agree, he just didn't feel the need to say it. Sure he didn't actually realize the man he'd stabbed and the fight he'd interrupted had been a pirate until well after the fact but the fact remained that he had only been out tooling around the ocean for a couple months now. He didn't know about Victoria but that meant he was worth nothing to a bounty hunter. Maybe a marine. Those guys didn't seem to care so long as it looked like a pirate, smelled like a pirate. Fidgety little bastard though wasn't he? Said bounty hunter kept moving and the only people Roshaun knew like that were - "Thief." He really couldn't say anything about thieves, pirate and all. xxxxx"With an inferiority complex." He added as the man went on about how he needed to prove he was the strongest and yadda yadda yadda. His eyes narrowed on the man who moved at him. Not surprised, because you can't surprise a man who is constantly waiting for the world to attack him by trying to take off his head. This bounty hunter just proved his suspicious of people, like he had been waiting for. People were violent, cruel and fed off of those around them. Sadly Roshaun knew he was no exception so when those fists angled toward him, he utilized that speed the bounty hunter had been so impressed with. xxxxxStep back. Right, left, right, right. He avoided the quick strikes with what almost looked like a single fluid motion. With his initial strike complete Roshaun lashed out. Right hand sweeping out as though he intended to slap the man but said slap didn't come. Instead a strong gust of wind did the job for him. It wasn't bladed as it was too soon after his last failed attempt for his liking. The intent was to shove Mr. thief with daddy issues far enough away that Roshaun then could lead his own attack. xxxxx"Vermin should be skinned." He voiced, adjusting the blade still dripping from the large pirate's blood. His cheek had a nasty looking red mark. The man's final hit to his face had been difficult to dodge due to the leg. It had drawn across the side of his face as he side stepped and he wasn't about to allow a similar fault. Two clean blades shining in the sunlight joined their brother, his hand already staining them red. He didn't steadily work his way up to his fiercest attacks while his opponent had the chance to whittle away at what little strength he had. This way, if he found he couldn't actually defeat the opponent he still had the capacity to escape any serious injury or life threatening situation. xxxxxHe had no trouble admitting what he couldn't do. That didn't mean he wouldn't push himself. That said, he slashed at the man's throat with his blades. Each one came from his clenched fist like claws and unlike Daddy Issues over here, he wasn't looking to take prisoners.

•°o.O Victoria E. Castelle O.o°• xxxFunny how Ava preferred killing the weak to messing with the strong. Perhaps it was because weakness bothered her, and people with strength actually deserved a spot on this God-forsaken planet. Maybe that was why the fight breaking out in front of her didn't bother her. Except, maybe, the fact the fight wasn't really in front of her. More like directly beside her. She could certainly say as a fact that if she got hit, or had to dodge a blow, her offender wouldn't live to eat breakfast tomorrow. Or, better yet, maybe she'd make breakfast for them. After stocking up on supplies, of course. xxxNeedless to say, there wasn't much to be said when Ava herself wasn't in the fight. She simply stood there, side by side with the other villagers, watching Roshaun and Kinniku fight like... well... like males butting heads. She thought of the possibility of Roshaun's death and wondered how she'd react to that. Of course, that only forced her to realize that she didn't really care if he died or not, and that it was none of her concern. Well, if Roshaun died in battle, then there was a possibility that Kinniku would bring the fight to her. But all she'd have to do was throw some purple poison in the air and give herself the antidote when she was safely on the boat. As for the fight itself, Ava didn't appear to be watching anymore, looking over the expressions of others instead.
