"My... food..." Hikuro was still sad to know that theres no food left. He walked to the others and saw a bunch of people beside Hayate and Bea. There was a guy who was holding a plant and from the plant there was some light, event thought Hikuro can use is power to give some lighting in the room too. After a moment he saw something that he never saw, a Merman. Hikuro read a lot about merman, and their history. And someone else who is desperate in searching for his sword. Hikuro looked around for a moment, he tried to think. "So any idea to get out of here?" He said while looked at the others.

((Sorry for skipping you Shut, but you haven't posted yet and i wont be here this weekend)) "You still look like a fishman to me..." Hayate said to Kazuo, knowing that merfolk were half fish, half human where the fish part was only from the waist down wile the human was from that point upwards and from what he knew they looked completely human from the waist up, though the one before him no matter how he looked at it still looked like a fishman even if the form itself resembled a merfolk. Thrusting his hand into the pile of destroyed wood he pulled out a man who he thought was their 3rd companion from the boat. Though after looking at the man for a moment "Your not the starving guy..." he said to Leche, releasing a stream of tobacco smoke into the man's face, referring to Hikuro. Wile holding the dazed man he could hear yet another unfamiliar voice in the air. Hayate turned his head towards the new light source in the darkness, watching as the man holding it turned it into a lamp post. Some sort of plant devil fruit power? he thought as he saw Basil using his ability, and keeping his hand near his satchel. "Calm down green, if i wanted to take you out you wouldn't be standing here." he said calmly to Basil, non threatening. "So everyone... it seems that we are all in a little... situation. I don't know how much any of you know what is going on now but from what i saw before here... I think that we were all swallowed by a Island Eater." he said referring to the legends of seakings so large that they could swallow a Island whole. "So i suggest that we make friendly for now, unless any of you have problems working with pirates." he said pausing for a second, taking another puff of his cigarette he began speaking again "I'm Captain Hayate of the Rook Pirates, and you have already heard Skip and Spit." he said refering and motioning towards Bea and Hikuro.

✗ Plague of East Blue✗ x ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ The world exploded in a hail of wood and adolescent rage. A bomb had went off beneath the row boat, tossing boards, planks, and anything else that had a name based on weight and size into the air. It was a five foot explosion that screamed with a voice, instead of a boom, a one-shot cannon that fired chunks of debris with apparent ease; as if it were flinging balloons and pillows instead of hard broken bits of ship. The splinters came down like rain, with hail, showering everything in the vicinity with sharp annoyance and an occasional headache, courtesy of the more sizable pieces. What was left of the boy's prison was a hole, an indent mysteriously clear of wood.
Leche had broken free with a yell, his lungs flat and his muscles taut with exertion. Anger grabbed his cheeks and pulled on both sides, as it hung onto a now bent brow. A snarl escaped his lips, directed at anyone and everything that was made of, holding, or close to wood. Dim lighting gave him a general idea of who to hate. He settled for everyone, so he glared at everyone. Jerks, he inwardly seethed. First they stepped on him, interrupting his nap. Then they attacked him with a ship. Jerks, he continued that train of thought.
"Jerks!" He finally remembered to vocalize it. An accusatory hand went down the line of jerks and jerkettes...and merjerks. He paused at that last one, looking at the fish person, up and down, left and right. The sword poked his eyes at once.
"Ahhh!" Came his surprise, the finger of pointing making frantic jabs in the merman's direction. "Thief!" Anger tackled surprise at once, replacing it on the boy's features. "Fish thief! Fief! Thish!" The silly adjectives carried through the air as Leche took off the ground in a jump. The leap carried him in an arc, who's endpoint was directed dangerously at the merman. A tightly clenched fist being drawn back in a punch didn't help matters any. Especially when it was thrown in the merman's direction the moment he got within arm's reach. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ [/ul][/ul][/ul]

Beatriz K. Montelle xxx"My name is not Skip!" Bea yelled, getting more and more aggravated with her new nickname. What was wrong with calling her by her actual name? It was one syllable, for Christ's sake! While she was moping over that, however, something interesting was happening. It seemed like a boy sprang out from under what used to be their boat, throwing a punch at the fish guy. Thing. Merman? Whatever. Bea only knew that if the fish didn't move soon, he was going to get a fist to the face. And fists always had a tendancy of being unpleasant, especially when taken to the face. xxxBut there was another matter that just occurred to Bea. xxxWithout a word to Hayate or any of the other strange people accumilating in wherever they were, Bea slipped off towards the far side of the wreckage. She hadn't given it much thought since she'd been thrown from the boat, but she left three of her most valuable items on the boat, and now she could only hope they were all in tact. Searching with a silent concentration, it took her a while to pull her violin case out from under the wreckage. Holding her breath, she opened it up to reveal her precious violin was unscathed. "Thank goodness, she muttered, locking it up once more and looking around. The case to her flute and her war scythe were right next to each other, which was good. Picking up the scythe, she slid it into it's sheath on her back. She hoped no one was threatened by it's presence; but then the fishman had been holding a sword and no one panicked, so it should be fine. The flute wasn't as lucky as her violin and scythe, however. When she opened the case, twisted and bent pieces of metal came tumbling out, much to her dismay. For a minute, she simply stared at the scraps of metal like she didn't recognize them at all. She was in shock for quite a while, simply staring at them blankly. When realization finally struck her, it didn't hurt as badly as she thought it would; though Hayate would certainly hear about it when she was in the mood to play her flute. Sighing, she thought, well, at least Hayate, Hikuro and I made it down here without turning up like that... xxxBea stood, clutching her violin case's handle in both hands as if holding it like such would make her feel like she was carrying two instruments instead of one. She heaved another sigh, looking at the broken remains of her flute, then walked back to Hayate's side, hoping the fight hadn't or wouldn't progress. After all, where ever they were may appear large, but once tensions started to rise, things would seem much smaller.

❦ Of The Green Thumb ❦ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Basil grumbled hearing everyone yell out names, argue and fight, an eyebrow twitching a little, he preferred the silence to be honest, these new people were noisy. He then blinked hearing the smoking one say 'island eater', were... they 'inside' a giant fish of some kind and if that was the case then how would they get out? Basil concentrated for a second as the light shining from the lantern 'plant' he was touching suddenly flashed brightly, hoping to catch their attentions by momentarily hurting their eyes to stop them from fighting. "I believe we must concentrate on how to get out of here, though against my better judgement.... I suggest that we all work together to figure out a way to get out of this 'fish'."
With that Basil returned the light to is dim glow, just enough light for them to see about five feet around it and each other. "What I suggest..." Basil inwardly sighed, not liking to take command but given that no one was doing anything constructive he basically 'had' to. "...Is that we introduce ourselves and maybe tell one another how we ended up here in the first place? A sense of familiarity might ease some tensions so please if you wouldn't mind starting us off... you?" Basil then pointed to the black haired boy who had called everyone jerks.

Kazuo (the curious little merman) xxxxx"But..." Kazuo wanted to insist he wasn't a fishman but the distinction didn't seem to interest anyone present. Maybe it did they just were more concerned about where they were he supposed. He was too. Well kind of concerned. Nothing bad happened in groups. So the merman wasn't particularly upset by the announcement that they were in fact eaten by a sea king. "I could try and talk to it." The boy offered raising his hand as though they wouldn't otherwise know who in fact had offered. His hand sunk downcast as he add, "I'm not very good at it." The hand dropped fully when he finished with "I've actually never managed it before. Sorry." He was too excited to be able to help that he wasn't thinking about what he was physically capable of actually helping with. xxxxxThe bright light did not help as far as Kazuo was concerned. He ducked his head, shielded his eyes with a hand and let loose a small sound of displeasure. His eyes were set for night hunting, the sudden intensity of light was not at all pleasant. "Why would you do that?" He asked, a slight whine to his voice, once the light went down. Didn't matter, he was still blinking and rubbing his eyes with the back of his arm, muttering "Not nice at all." Two people had now suggested that they know each other by name and while he wasn't at all happy with the man with the light, he didn't have an objection to sharing names. xxxxx"I'm Kazu-aahhh!" His introduction was interrupted by the man who had thus far had the worst of luck in this island eater. If he was in the water, there wouldn't have been a problem. He would have dived out of the way and probably run off. As it was, he wasn't the fastest creature out of the water. He did all he had access to. That's not entirely true but in his panic at being attacked he forgot about trying to move out of the way. The stick/sword was thrown in the attackers direction. More out of an effort to free his hands then any sort of defense. His now free hands were brought up to his face, hiding behind them. He had leaned away from the attack and as a result was laying on the floor. xxxxx"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." What he was apologizing for he couldn't say but the chanting of the phrase continued to spill from his mouth. He probably made a decent target with that sort of reaction; one that didn't pull him out of the way of any attacks. Takahiro would have been disappointed.

Hikuro look around until a black haired guy scream something. "Jerks? Captain.... Can i burn him? i don't like to be called a jerk by a jerk" He looked at Hayate first waiting for his approval. Hikuro don't really like to be call anything beside his name or his nickname. After a moment he saw the guy holding a plant that was a little angry for Hikuro. "Introduce ourself? Why you don't introduce yourself first?" Hikuro once again looked at him. Hikuro was already piss off since he only had a little portion of food and now he was inside a fish. "Like Hayate said... I'm Spit... but my friends call me Hikuro".

✗ Plague of East Blue✗ x ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Like magic, the punch transformed into a grab and the snarl changed into a smile. Princes and frogs, beauties and beasts: in the end, as the curtain fell and the book closed, all it took was a sword. Or was it a kiss? Whatever. He didn't care for fairy tales. Especially ones with kissing. Eww. Also, he didn't read much; he stared at the pictures and the words, really hard. That counted, right? Anyway, the merman threw the kiss/sword/thing in his direction, and he was quick to catch it. What a nice guy, the thought came unbidden, as it stood above the corpse of its predecessor: I'mma gonna punch you, really, really hard!
Not one to waste momentum, Leche opened his arms wide to receive his newest friend in a scale crushing hug. He was, after all, still flying towards him - sans the clenched fist and face punching intent. It would have been heartfelt, if not for the blinding light that jump kicked his brain. Another transformation occurred that day, one that morphed a hug missile into a tackle torpedo. "Ah! Light! Eyes!" Leche summarized it nicely. "Things!" But kept it real.
Leche hit the fish hard. As hard as a 14 year-old boy propelled at moderate speeds can be. Which wasn't that hard, if compared to a rock, wearing armor, and driving a tank. They collided, "Omph!" They rolled, "Ahhhhh!" Somewhere, somehow, the kid worked in that hug, forming a human/fish ball of tangled limbs and yelps. Thankfully, the ground was soft and bouncy. Unfortunately, the ground was soft and bouncy: the duo just kept on rolling. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ [/ul][/ul][/ul]

He watched as the the strange kid, Leche, sprung and hugged the inside of the giant fish? or attacked... he really could not tell in the light neither did he have the interest to figure out what was up with the kid. So he would just have to pass him off as some delusional kid inside of the giant fish... sounded like the story of a children's book of he had to say, all it needed was a strange animal sidekick and some bad guys to thicken the plot. Hayate reached into his back pocket and pulled out his pack of cigarettes, packing them as he looked around at this new... colleagues if he had to put a name for it. He did not know who they were or even if what they would say they are is the truth but they were all stuck in this predicament. Though he was getting the feeling in his gut that this little party was not by complete coincidence, and he had the feeling that he needed to keep his eyes and ears open. "Its Captain..." he said as he finished packing his pack and lit one up. "Just stay cool for a bit longer Spit... and you know if you are fond of sushi just take a bite." he said jokingly as he motioned his head towards what was around them... a giant fish. "Well I think that its safe to say that how we got here is generally the same story. Though maybe one or two of you were sleeping peacefully on the graceful seas when you heard a ruckus only to wake up finding yourself in the middle of night, though with a extra slimy earth." he said as he paused for a few moments as he picked up his blade which was sitting on top of the wreckage below him, placing the handle on his shoulder as he kicked the slimy floor next to him. He figured that cutting or anything flashy probably wouldn't be able to cut though the insides of the island eater, and even if they could they were probably deep underwater and that was something he was not to fond of. "Skip, Spit what will it be... Heads or tails?" he said knowing that they would probably wouldn't know what he was talking about first, though at the same time he pointed one of his arms towards the mouth of the fish and the other one the opposite way... towards its rear end. Though with a obvious sense of humor in the thought of them crawling out its butt. With that in mind he began to walk towards the way they came down, towards the mouth. "Lets go Skip, spit we got a ways to go." he said calling for his crew to follow as he started moving again, though before so he turned his head back towards the group "I believe that its in the best interest if the rest of you join the possy, we can chit chat along the way... unless you feel like becoming fish bait." he said looking at Basil, then back at his own crew to follow along. Knowing that the other people there really wouldn't not have much choice but to follow along with his crew.

Beatriz K. Montelle xxx"My name is not 'skip', dammit," Bea mumbled. Her protests were getting weaker and weaker as she was starting to care less and less what Hayate called her. Well, not that she didn't care; she was just starting to realize no matter what she said, the nickname wasn't going away. Still, Bea waved to the others and spun around to follow Hayate. It was surprising how many strange people had gathered, and how testy they were from being eaten. Obviously, they didn't live by the phrase "live and let live" ...whatever that meant. For the time being, she was simply okay to have the war scythe strapped to her back and her violin case in her hands. xxxWhich reminded her... xxx"Hey, Hayate. The fall broke my flute," she said, poking him in the arm to get his attention. While her flute was of little importance at the moment and she highly doubted Hayate cared at all, he would definitely start caring when Bea started complaining. Besides; this was going to be a long walk and if the people behind them started following and arguing, it was going to be a long trip. A long trip. "When we get out of here, you have to buy me a new one," Bea said. She didn't know when, but at some point, she'd decided this was completely Hayate's fault.

❦ Of The Green Thumb ❦ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Basil watches the fighting continue on for a few more moments before he saw this.. captain fellow begin to lead the group. He looked to the 'Spit' person and turned his nose up at him, knowing not to associate with people who did not like him and thus did not like in return. "Hmph. I'm Basil by the way." Basil stated out to no one in particular.
Basil would then look to the captain and smirked a little, leaning against his lamp post "So two questions... 'captain'. First, how do you intend to go there without any source of light and second even if you go to..." Basil looked around and was amazed that all of.. 'this' was a fish. "This thing's mouth, what makes you think it'll open it? What? Will you ask it politely? And even if you get it open you do realize this sea creature might be hundreds of depths under the ocean right?" Basil tried to point out, not welcoming the idea of stepping outside this fish only to then drown under the water.
Basil looked around a bit "What I would suggest is we try to think of a way both of how to get out and how to stay alive once we do get out." Basil couldn't help but think that even if they did get out in one piece, seeing their luck so far he wondered if they'd 'pop' out of this things mouth just to end up in another sea monster's. Basil looked to the captain, waiting for his response, he wasn't sure if the merman or the boy were apt to follow him, he already had a ill tempered red head and a girl following him.

Kazuo (the curious little merman) xxxxxThe merman was expecting to be hit, which technically he was. But technically he'd also been expecting anger and not a failed attempt at a rather hard hug. Somewhere in the tackle/hug he'd lost his breath so it took a moment before he realized that he was getting rather dizzy. The spinning must stop. He couldn't think of anything really past that. Flailing seemed like a good idea at the time. In retrospect it probably wasn't but at least it was an attempt to make it stop. The ground was squishy, their combined weight was not. Instead of bouncing off his butt when they rolled he would bounce off parts that were not designed to be bounced on. xxxxxWhen they finally crashed to a stop Kazuo thought he might barf. The island eater's insides were spinning, or maybe that was him. He couldn't be sure because he liked to do a few spins when swimming on occasion. Maybe the sea king liked playing in the water too. Pulling himself upright became a challenge. He was swaying and couldn't help toppling back over on his side. "Ow." He said mostly to be saying something but his head was still rattling so it was sort of hard to think of words. xxxxxAfter a moment he tried again. There was still an awkward drunken sway to his motion but he managed to stay sitting upright. He'd call that a triumph considering. Once more he was checking all his limbs. Yep, yep all attached, good. A little bent but still good. He trailed a hand over the tangled limbs that weren't part of him. Found what he thought was an arm and tugged a little. "You alive?" He was starting to think it wasn't an arm but maybe a leg. "Hey Mr. You're not going to try and hit me again if I move you are you?"xxxxxIt was darker. He was a bit surprised he noticed. Maybe because of the bright blinding light. That was it, his eyes were more aware of such things right now. It made a little sense and so he didn't bother finding another answer. Just how far did they tumble? Couldn't have been that far. It only took him a few moments to swim the length of a sea king so it couldn't be that far inside of one right?

Hikuro decide to follow is captain since he want to get out from there, and quickly. "How i suppose to find a sushi in here, Captain?" Hikuro look at Hayate again while is stomach was growling. "Well… Nice to meet you Basil" He said while still keeping walking. "Any source of light? Well beside you, there still me who can make some light…" Hikuro said to Basil. "But it will be a little dangerous if i use it…" Hikuro made a little laugh and keep walking hoping he will not lose is captain in that fish. For the second question Hikuro did not respond since he don't want to be dead inside a fish or drawing in the water too, and he don't have any ideas….

✗ Plague of East Blue✗ x ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ It was a leg, and it groaned with every pull.
"Uhhhhgh..." Leche's world was spinning. Like, like a barrel kicked down a hill. "Bleeh..." With him in. The boy felt sick with head vomit; he was disoriented, nauseous, and it felt like he had extra arms and fins, and body. He groped the added weight, finding the scales strange to the touch. Scales? His fingers asked their touchy questions, feeling Kazuo as far as their digits could stretch.
Everything was upside down and black, and smelled strangely like fish. Details, once fuzzy and indistinct, were gone, replaced by the ever present darkness. It was dark, and the darkness talked.
"Hey Mr. You're not going to try and hit me again if I move you are you?"
"Hit you?" He replied to the blackness with an unreadable expression; it was dark after all. "Ugh...why?" He gave the scales another rub. They felt kind of nice. "Is that you Thish?" The fact that he was prepared to pummel the merman on top of him had long been forgotten. Not one to wait, the boy picked the both of them up and stood. Funny to the touch and light to the load, the young chef had little difficulty in standing and carrying the merman. The boy/fish heap now had two pillars of support: the legs of Leche.
"Wow," Leche took in his surroundings for the first time since he was stepped on, crushed, and rolled. "It's dark. Did you know it was dark, Thish?" From the way he kept sticking his face close to Kazou's and the way his arms snaked around drawing them closer together, it was obvious the boy wasn't bothered by the contact. It was as if his personal bubble could be measured in nanometers. "Hey!" His voice grew in volume and excitement. "Think we're inna cave?" If eyes could sparkle, Leche's would have been two blaring headlights. "Gotta be treasure. Right? Right!? There's always treasure in caves. Holes. And boxes! Ooooh, maybe that's why you guys are here, for the treasure. It's gotta be this way, down the tunnel!" He was practically bouncing on his heels at this point before taking off in a full sprint in the opposite direction of Basil and the others.
"Adventuuuuuuuuuuuuuure!" His yell echoed across the stomach.

xxxxxxxxx☠ Murky Depths ☠ x ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Light. Like a head poking from behind the curtain, a green orb glowed eerily. Dead center, amidst the wreckage it danced in the darkness, swaying and bathing the area around it in its glow. Wood, nails, the ground: the light gave truth and detail, but it was selfish with its findings. Even more so with its origin. The illumination extended only a few feet. No more. No less. It was dim. A dull knife that stabbed the veil of black, leaving behind a small cut of color and substance. Color and substance that was green and glowy. It moved too, the orb. Bouncing and bobbing as if attached to a pole. Leche, Kazou, Grey, Basil, Hikuro and Bea: the light wandered over them, covering them in a brief sense of self like a flashlight before moving on to another person. Other than the glow, nothing more could be said about the ball of seeing. Nothing more than the obvious: it was a bright green and it moved, almost rhythmically at that. Enthralling. Beckoning those present to come closer with every hop and bob. "Come here," it commanded silently, "I'm glowing and beautiful." And it stayed like that, bouncing and coloring the crew.
Sounds followed. The sounds of movement. Lurching and climbing over the broken heap. It was a jungle gym to those sneaking up on the group, a worn and familiar playground that had long lost its flavor. Now it was a collection of routine and a pile of humdrum they traveled across with practiced ease. And the gathered survivors remained unaware, except for those who bothered to listen. It was difficult to catch, almost inaudible. But it was there. The shifting of planks, the creaks of wood and the soft squish of the ground sinking and rising back to itself. It was everywhere, all around them, and growing closer, like a wave being pulled by the light. Something, someone was out there. And it had brought friends.
Leche made for a fetching target. Alone, armed with only a merman. So different was he from the damp wood and familiar stench of the cave and its droppings. The whole talking thing helped, too. As it did with the others. The lighthouse of an orb cast its glow on him one last time before shifting to the others, moving through the debris and keeping its distance from both the humans and those drawing closer. Squish, squish they circled the cook and his present company, two of them, their unseen clubs raised for impact. A smile, a nod, the dim signal moved their clubs downward. Toward the head of the questionable chef. The darkness was their advantage. Their weapon.
Basil, Grey, Hikuro and Bea: a hippie, a chain smoker, a weakling and a girl, they almost dropped the whole stealth thing right there. It was laughable how easy this was going to be. The elaboration, the light, everything seemed almost pointless as they snuck up on the crowd of youths. One neared Bea, another crept up behind Hikuro while two tried to get past the barrier of debris to get at Basil and Grey. The wandering glow washed over them for a quick, revealing second before disappearing to lighten some broken mast heads. Oh mast heads. If you seen one, you've seen them all. The flash gave them all a quick, startling look. There were six in all, big, odd looking strangers armed with makeshift clubs, presumably fashioned from bits of ship laying around. Features were lost to the darkness, the light gone. They chose then to attack, clubs sailing through the dark in hopes of meeting their mark in what would be a painful encounter.
(OOC: These are minions. As such, auto-hitting them is allowed. Go crazy. They're minions! Who cares?) ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ [/ul][/ul][/ul]
