Pysche Information
Likes: People, sushi, music, finding things on the ocean floor
Dislikes: Angry voices, violence for violence(not food), green food, splinters
Personality: Curiosity killed the cat. It's a good thing Kazuo is not a cat then. Kazuo was protected and as such has little idea about the world outside of Fishman Island. Even at that, he was never allowed to see human's but from a distance. When he escaped he found himself enchanted by the humans. He has no reservations to approach a ship or boat and pester the humans aboard for every little detail of their lives.
xxxxxHe is most certainly not aggressive, but he is a talented hunter. There is a line in his mind between fish as friends and fish as food. When he is talking to them they are friends and when he is hunting they are food. Even fish he is close to are possible prey when he is hunting. This doesn't seem odd to him at all. It's part of the food chain and if his friends are not quick or smart enough to keep from being eaten by him then they would have been eaten by someone else anyway.
xxxxxWhen not hunting, Kazuo is really more of a sweetheart. He would chatter away with someone for hours on end until they forced him to stop. He doesn't hold grudges, even to those who have tried to do him harm. Not stupid, he will shy away from those who have proven themselves vicious but he must go through it first to gain an avoidance of an individual. If it is in his power, he will do whatever he can to assist someone who asks. Much like a dolphin, he'll swim alongside a boat or ship, often hanging on the edge until he is chased away.
Biography: Kazuo was born on Fishman Island. While many pirates come through the opening in Red Line, his parents held a distrust for humans. This had to do with the occasions when the island was not under protection and humans would often steal merfolk. Kazuo was not allowed to go near any human. He tried a few times as most children tend to do, but he was watched closely. When his parents weren't watching him, it was a fishman by the name of Takahiro. The fishman was paid to keep the young merman away from the humans who might otherwise steal him away and sell him as a slave. There was little ground to believe that this would happen aside from the previous kidnappings and even then they were a little more than paranoid.
xxxxxBut Kazuo grew up normally otherwise. He played with his friends, chatted with fish, even tried to talk to sea kings that came near the island(with little success). The fishman Takahiro tried to teach him some fighting moves. Though he showed little talent for fighting he has proven a especially decent hunter. Takahiro took him out of the city on occasion, often with the purpose of giving him the chance to hunt in a more open area.
xxxxxOne day, after a recent pirate crew had left the city, Kazuo got obstinate about having more freedom. All he wanted was to have a little more space to breath from his overprotective parents. Takahiro was watching him that day. They were to stay in the city but Kazuo wheedled the fishman into taking him out. Between the fishman not paying as much attention to the boy and a huge school of fish, Kazuo managed to slip away. When the fishman noticed he swam after the boy. Between his head start and his greater speed, Kazuo lost his caretaker and was on his way. Kazuo spent a short while in Grand Line. He was quick to flee through the calm belt when he found how harsh and rough the ocean could be and is hesitant about returning there. For now he is excited to about the other oceans and meet the people there.

Combat Information
Weapon: None
Fighting Style: Kazuo never really showed a talent for fighting but if pressed he will drag the attacker under the water. He puts the human's weakness of being unable to breath under the water to his advantage. Generally if he has dragged someone under it is merely to escape. Once they release him or stop attacking him he will let go and flee. Like most all merfolk he is a fast swimmer but he does have one skill that is rather interesting. As a tiger shark he can swim into very shallow waters and still be able to make lightening fast turns. Mostly used for hunting, he can pull himself along his prey and quickly turn sideways to put it directly in his line of sight and thus grasp.
Fighting Style Weakness: The fact that he doesn't have a fighting style at all. His flailing might be dangerous but it was hardly accurate and certainly not intended to harm. The only other real weakness to talk about is his trust in people. With his only talent being his speed of swimming, the closer he gets to others the less likely chance he has at being able to flee without injury.

Sample: "Taaaaka" Kazuo whined, not for the first time. The little shark was bored staying at home. There was currently a ship of marines in the city and when that happened he was confined to home. In his boredom he was chewing on Takahiro's arm. He hadn't punctured or bit down very hard at all but the constant irritation made a discolored mark on his caretaker. "Pleeese" He whined again knowing that the older man couldn't stand the sound and couldn't ignore him for long.
xxxxxTakahiro was sitting in front of the door to make sure the nosy little pest didn't slip out and get himself in trouble. He had two moods. Good and bad. The fishman had been in a good mood, happy to watch the boy where he couldn't wander off putting his little nose into things that didn't concern him. Over time the boy's boredom was causing him to get into a rather bad mood. He pulled his arm away from the gnawing sharp little teeth and flicked the boy's forehead. "Go play with your new toy."
xxxxxKazuo huffed, rubbing away the sting Takahiro had caused. He turned ten a couple days ago and the new toy in question was a gift. It was also sitting on the floor at the moment. "Buuut-" He got a sharp look that told him his whining was no long going to be tolerated. "But I've been playing with it all day." The boy was not to be dissuaded though he did cease his whining. "Please. Can't we just go for a little bit?" The fishman remained passive watching the begging child. "Just for a minute?"
xxxxxTakahiro sighed and pulled himself to his feet earning an excited cry from his young charge. "Get your coat." He reminded the bouncing shark. Said coat was fumbled in the boy's excitement. Holding the neck of the coat Takahiro helped him find the sleeves. "Stop smiling. Five minutes, I mean it." Kazuo nodded his head hard, grinning ear to ear.
