Beatriz K. Montelle xxxBea watched as they started fighting (again) and scowled. "So this is bound to be a death match, eh?" Setting her violin case down on part of the shattered gallows, unlatching it and pulling out her precious violin. "If you can't beat them, and you don't want to join them... annoy the crap out of them." Placing her violin in it's respective spot on her shoulder and puting the bow to the strings, Bea started out one long, drawn out note, only to fly into a flurry of notes that would, as Bea saw it, make the perfect background music to a fight scene. The song itself was Toccata and Fugue by Bach; or as Bea liked to call it, 'another old song by another dead guy.' Still, it was a fitting song for a fight, and the fast flying flurry of notes would give her something to do while they went at each other's throats.

"So Ravy will you still attack me even though every time you do another of your men is dead?" Hayate said mockingly, he had little to no concern for marine dogs but he also figured that Raven cared as long as the job got done... and he was right. For Raven was a man who would sacrifice even himself to uphold the name of the world government... Absolute Justice. He would fight to the death or until his body could hold him up no more. Hayate charged at the Captain again, Raven swong his battle ax down at Hayate though Hayate easily side stepped the attack dodging it completly, twisting and turning underneath the marines arm as his blade cut into the marines chest. Though even that would not slow the Crusader of the East as Hayate and raven were back to back now. Raven swung his Ax 180 degrees around with his body at Hayate though once again dodged the attack, though only barley for he only had a limited number of times he could get attacked before he was a vulnerable as any other man. That was the reason why he went tot he barracks earlier, not for sight seeing rather he was collecting the hair of marines for his power did not work without a piece of the person he was redirecting the damage to, and it was not a power he could use multiple times on the same person in succession. Ducking to dodge the ax he lunged up at the Marines chest thrusting his blade through the mans chest after his own ax had swung over him. Though when Hayate attempted to draw the blade out it would not budge and instead of him being able to get away from the man Ravens hand engulfed Hayate's skull as he was pummeled into the ground by the marine and then thrown into the stone wall of the tower. Two more marines fell dead each time Hayate was landed a blow.

Beatriz K. Montelle xxxBea completely ignored the fight as she continued to play; and it seemed as if the fighters completely ignored her, which didn't really bother her at all. As her first song ended, she led straight into Beethoven's Virus. Though she didn't dance, as she usually did, or even tap her feet to the beat, her eyes stayed trained on the fight before her, watching Hayate and hoping he'd win the fight. If he won, she would definitely join his crew! Unless, of course, he found her annoying and said 'no' condemning her to a life of fruitlessly playing music to fight scenes she wasn't involved in. Still, that thought didn't bother her as it probably should've. Closing her eyes, she put more heart into it, the song taking meaning, the notes carrying her encouragement to Hayate.

Hayate was about to move away from the stone wall when Raven's battle ax flew out of nowhere, the blade flying though his chest and embedding itself into the wall... Hayate was pinned. The damage would still be transferred but he couldn't move the ax out of the stone wall behind him. The marine laughed as he watched Hayate attempt to un-lodge the battle ax. "I have no more time for filthy little pirate scum, i'm ending this now." Raven said as he pulled out the blade that was embedded in his chest and walked over towards where Hayate was pinned. Though no matter what he still could not move the ax and could do nothing but watch as Raven thrust back the blade and was ready to thrust it forward into Hayate until he was dead. But Hayate still had one more ace up his sheave... one that he didn't want to show yet but now he had no choice. "The cornered dog... Bites back." Hayate said suddenly the aura around his body began to change, his body began to become engulfed in what appeared to be straw and his body began to grow larger and larger until he was taller than Raven himself. "Demon-Conquering Form." Hayate said in a much deeper than normal voice. Raven was stunned for a moment long enough for Hayate to lunge his hand into Ravens chest, where his fingers appeared to be nails now, digging into the chest and thrusting him into the ground. Hayate unpinned himself from the tree holding the ax with his left hand as his nails dug into the Captain and used the area between the blade and the handle to pin down the hand that Raven was holding the blade with."As i said... i'm a straw Man!" Hayate yelled out as he quickly unlodged his hand from the marines chest and pummeled him into the ground, shaking the ground around it sending up dust into the surrounding area. As the Dust settled Hayate appeared in his human form lighting a cigarette wile Raven was left unconscious on the ground behind him, hopefully for good this time. "Skip! Are you just going to be sitting up there all day or are you going to get moving?" He said hiding the tiredness he was feeling and some minor injuries for he could not transfer the small ones for he did not know how many large hits he would be taking.

Beatriz K. Montelle xxxBea had put her violin away and was at Hayate's side in little under a moment. "Of course I'm not just going to sit there all day; that'd be boring! I was waiting on you anyways." Looking over the destruction, she blinked, "You really did a number on this place, didn't you?" Bea waited for Hayate's next move before doing anything herself. While she could see he was a little scratched up, she seemed completely oblivious to his tiredness. She herself seemed completely energized; but then, there wasn't a moment when Bea didn't seem completely energized. "Oh... and... Hayate..." Suddenly, Bea seemed a little fidgety and nervous. "You said you were a pirate, before. Would you...? Would your crew be needing a musician?"

Hayate looked around at the destruction he had caused during the fight "Eh ive seen worse." he said remembering new years eve last year. Hayate looked around to see who was still lingering around, and he could see no more marines around figuring that as soon as they saw their captain down they flee'd for their lives or at least to get reinforcements. "Yea Skip?" he said waiting for what ever she was going to say, though before she could say anything more he cut her off "Your just going to follow me anyways right? Just don't blame me that the rowboat is cramped at night." Hayate said as he picked up his blade threw it on his shoulder and walked towards the Base's gate towards the town.

Beatriz K. Montelle xxxBea blinked at Hayate's interruption. "Well, I'll take that as a yes. So how many people are in the crew?" Bea asked, skipping ahead of Hayate a little and walking backwards with a silly grin on her face. She didn't know how small his boat was, but if it was too small, she could tie hers to his. She'd seen fishermen do it a few times, and it didn't seem too hard. Bea could probably figure it out with some rope and some time. She was, by all means, much more interested in Hayate's crew. She wanted to know how many people she'd be entertaining and under what captain; if Hayate wasn't the captain, the captain must be incredibly strong. Her mind started off on all the possibilities; she loved performing for others, especially when the music could cheer them up, or give them a chance to have fun when they were stressed. As proven by her playing for marines, Bea didn't care who her audience was, as long as they listened and enjoyed the music.

"How many people are in the Crew besides you and me? Well lets see here..." he began to say as he began saying random names and counting with his fingers well past 10. "All together there's... 2." he said revealing that the entire pirate crew was now just Hayate and Bea. "Well there was a third but.... it didn't end well with him." he said having a momentary flashback to his time in the rowboat where there was another person on the boat a well as a bag of gold. Though to make things short it ended up with the other man jumping ship with the gold and Hayate stabbing himself in the head to kill him, aka he didn't trust the man. "You don't want to know what happened to him. Just hope that the same thing doesn't happen to you." Hayate said as he kept on walking towards the docks where his boat was docked.

Beatriz K. Montelle xxx"Eh? Just two?" Bea looked at her feet, the little wheels in her mind turning. Brightening, she looked to Gray, "Does that mean I'm your musician and first mate?" Jumping and twirling so she was facing forwards once more, she laughed. Raising her hand and grinning, she announced, "I won't disappoint you, Captain~!" While Beatriz wasn't sure if first mate was simply an appointed title or literally the first crew mate the captain gains, Bea was content enough to dabble in her own imagination until she was corrected. She was also fairly excited to start the life of a pirate. People like Captain Raven wouldn't be able to tell her to "stop playing pirate" again. And should she run into her father... well, she would jump that hurdle when she came to it. For now, she turned so she was facing Hayate once more, and asked, "So, Captain, where are we headed next?"

"Yep just two, is there a problem with that? Remember we can always cut down on the non-captain number of the crew out at sea." he said making a joke as he kept on walking towards the docks. He looked at the girl when she mentioned the spot of first mate, where in reality he did not really care about who took what position though in retrospect if he wanted to make a name for himself he needed to have a first mate that was known and feared by not just pirates but marines... and this girl.. "We will take things one step at a time.... lets just say that your in running for first mate K?" he said knowing that skip wasn't exactly the icon of a feared pirate... rather he figured that she was more likely to take their enemies out on a tea party before fighting, though they will see. "Right now we are heading to the boat so we can get off this god forsaken spit of land. Though if you were wondering where after that if i remember the sea charts right the winds and currents around here should bring us to a island a few days away... though i have no idea whats on it or if there is even a town there."

Beatriz K. Montelle xxx"You're mean," Bea said, pouting. Turning around once more and falling back a bit so she was walking beside Hayate. "Oh... and if your boat is to small, I've got my own. We could tie them together, or something. I don't know." As they walked, she could see the docks come into sight. She started looking at the waves, the boats and the people excitedly- not unlike a dog being taken to a new place. Humming as she looked around, she chuckled a little. "This would've been a cool place to visit if it hadn't been for the whole marine incident. Way to screw up a nice visit, Hayate." Of course she meant it jokingly, but part of her wanted to go see the marketplace and possibly see if there were others interested in Hayate's crew. Oh well, she thought, focusing in on the docks and trying to guess which boat was Hayate's.

"Pirate." he said in reply to Bea's notion that he was being mean. "We will figure out something when we get to the docks." he said as he could tell that the girl was getting excited and pumped up for this, knowing that the girl was easily excited and entertained but somewhere inside it just made him sigh a bit wondering what exactly he was getting himself into. "If i remember right you are the one who decided to tag along with the pirate, not my fault you got shot at." he said mockingly at the girl as he finally entered the docks area of the town and sure enough at the end of the docks was a average sized rowboat with a make shift sail in the middle and at the top was the flag of Agatha the red. "I should really take that flag down.... ill do it later." he said, which had been the same thing he said when he stole the boat in the first place and obviously later usually meant never. He considered staying in the town a bit longer though the possibility of marine reinforcements would be just getting higher by the minute. Plus now that they were known pirates most people would try to stay away from them in general, or worse call the marines to shoot them.

Beatriz K. Montelle xxxBea saw the little ship and frowned. The flag of Agatha the Red meant little to nothing to her, call it naivety or ignorance, but she really didn't care, either. Just another pirate, right? Nothing too special... well, asides from the rumors that a lot of pirate crews were, somehow, affiliated with her. "Not all pirates have to be meanie-head spoil-sports, you know." Bea said, mostly just to be immature. She liked having people think she was incapable of firing off an actual insult, or too weak to fight, basically, she liked proving them wrong in the long run. It gave her a sense of pride. However, flying under a jolly roger that wasn't for her or her crew was something she had no interest to do. "If you're too lazy to do it, I will, okay Hayate-chan?" Now she was purposely teasing him; rather it bothered him or not didn't really matter. Either way, she ran ahead of Hayate, up to the boat marked for Agatha the Red. She'd heard it was disrespectful to allow a flag to touch the ground, but how would you go about disposing of a rival crew's jolly roger? Throw it in the ocean? Put it in a box for storage and hope you'll meet again to return it? Or, perhaps, simply burning it? The options were dancing through Bea's head as she stood before the boat, looking up at the flag and waiting for Hayate to catch up.

Hayate considered the comment that Bea made after looking at the flag, and aside from the obvious immaturity it did have some truth to it for there were different kinds of pirates. There were Peace Maine who goes on adventures, and doesn't really care about personal treasures or going around fighting other Pirates, and then there were the classic most common pirates known as Morgania who fight for treasure and personal gain, greedy and love to fight just to cause other people pain and misery. Though what exactly he would become was unknown even to Hayate for from the stories he had been told even the kindest person can change greatly within the grandline. Hayate followed Bea towards his rowboat and glanced at the flag for a moment, he had considered taking it down but if by the change they had come up upon another pirate the flag could give them some security especially if they were allied with Agatha; where most pirates in East blue were. "Do what you want with it." he carelessly said to the girl. It was true it was disrespectful to desecrate another flag but most pirates cared little of honor or such things anymore and those who did were a dying breed. Though even if they did dispose of the flag honorably Agatha was not one to share the curtsy. "Lets shove off before we get a bigger crowd watching us." he said referring to the civilians that had been following their every movement since they left the base, curious on what they were going to do now that they had decimated the strength of the marines on the island.

Beatriz K. Montelle xxxBea paid the curious citizens little to no mind; they were, after all, just that. Curious. Before she climbed aboard, however, she realized her belongings were all on her boat; and that included her flute and clothes. While the flute was more important to her than her clothes, she didn't want to leave anything behind. After seeing the boat for herself she decided there was no need for hers. Setting her violin down inside the boat, Bea cast Hayate a hurried look, "Wait here and don't let anyone touch my violin; I'll be right back!" xxxWithout awaiting a reply, Bea ran down the docks; her boat was three ships down from Hayate's and didn't take long to jump in and unlock the doors to the single cabin. Her bag was already sat neatly; the only other thing the room had for her was a music book (which she snatched as well). Casting a hurried glance over the room, she turned back without locking the door back, her belongings all in one hand. She did have her reasons for rushing; while she didn't think Hayate was the type to leave without her and with her violin, that didn't make her anymore willing to keep her new captain waiting. Arriving back at the docks, Bea grinned goofily, climbing in the boat and setting her single bag next to her violin case. "Sorry about that; I've got everything I need now, Captain~!" Come to think of it, maybe they should've latched the two vessels together. Bea wasn't too good with long, tedious trips, and being trapped on a small boat with her for any period longer than two days would be pure torture. Given her eccentric and easily grasped personality, Hayate probably could've guessed that.
